1. Testing
- Soil Testing
- Standard pasture
- Standard cropping
- Deep nitrogen
- Horticulture
- Tissue Testing
- Cropping
- Horticulture
- Pasture
Useful testing relies on effective sampling techniques. These must be followed to provide reliable data.
2. Analysis
The Pivotest laboratory is registered with NATA.
The laboratory continually calibrates and checks its measurements.
The test results will provide major nutrients, pH, organic carbon, exchangeable aluminium, exchangeable cations and with tissue testing -- a range of micro nutrients.
3. Interpretation
Using your background information on the site (eg current and intended use) Pivotest will give an interpretation of nutrient status eg Phosphorous -- low, marginal, high.
4. Recommendation
Using all of the above we can provide you with a fertiliser recommendation.
5. Application
This can be in bulk, 50kg bags or in a liquid form.
6. Recording
Any production process relies on well kept records. Do not throw away those old soil sample results. Over time they can provide you with a picture of nutrient trends.
