Sailability New England owns four modified sailing boats that enable people with disabilities to experience the sport and pleasure of sailing. The club recruits volunteers to assist with launching, and helping members to board the sailing boats. Members are also encouraged to learn all aspects of sailing such as rigging, launching, cleaning and storing of the boats.
We sail once per fortnight on a Sunday, weather permitting of course. We also have barbecues and other social activities from time to time, sometimes at Malpas Dam and sometimes at Kent/Hughes House. The club committee comprises both members and volunteers, all of whom have an equal say in the running of the club.
